Nail Grinding
with a Rotary Tool*
This method is best for smoothing the nail sheath, claw, that surrounds the live center of the nail, called the quick.
The Rotary Tool does make noise & minor vibrations which some pets have to be acclimated to over time.
The Wandering Paw does not upcharge for Nail Grinding services. Our goal is for every pet to receive the appropriate nail care service for their needs.

The All-in-Paw Membership

The ultimate in convenience & savings.
Prepay for the year (13 sessions, pre-booked every 4 weeks) & lock in your service at our lowest per session rate.
Billed annually at $455
Prefer a more frequent schedule? Additional sessions can be added to your membership for just $35 each. (Example: a bi-weekly schedule of 26 sessions totals $910, billed up front for the year.)
Please note: To maintain this low membership rate, all sessions are pre-scheduled. Skipped appointments cannot be refunded or transferred.
Is your pet a little nervous about nail care?
Meet & Treat - $35
During your Meet & Treat session, our Pawdicure Specialist will gently meet your pet, assess their comfort level, & work with you to create a personalized Roadmap to Success for their paw care journey.
A Pawdicure may take place if your pet is curious & receptive, but it isn’t guaranteed. This is a one-time session per pet designed to set the foundation for long-term paw health. If a trim is completed during this visit, we’ll note it in your pet’s history, but your Meet & Treat session remains just $35.
All following appointments will be billed as à la Claw-rte Pawdicures ($45 per session), or at the discounted rate if you enroll in one of our packages outlined above.
The goal of a Meet & Treat isn’t perfection on day one; it’s about building trust, easing anxiety, & setting the stage for long-term paw health with calm, compassionate care.
Multi Pet Discount Policy:
Each additional pet in the home, seen in the same session, is a flat rate of $30.
